error 1312.

I had to unistall my printer-copier-scanner,when i tried to reinstall it,this
message appear:Error1312.Cannot create the directory
C:\windows\installer\{6ecb39bd-73c2-44dd-b1a0-898207c58d8b}.A file with this
name already exist,please rename or remove the file and click retry or click
cancel to exit}.Can someone tell me where to look to find it.Thank you

What operating system is this on, and what is the name and manufacturer of
the printer? A model for the printer would be helpful too.

Windows xp home edition.Hp psc 1100/1200 series all-in-one
byHewlett-Packard.Hope that is ok.Christiane.
