Error 1935 Download Adobe Reader 8

When I try to download Adobe Reader 8 I get "Error 1935. An error occurred
during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft
..VC80.CRT,version="8.0.50727.163",type="win32,pub licKeytoken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitectu re="x86"'.Please

I have tried all the help places and can't get any!!
Can anyone here help me?

get the adobe reader 8.1.2 (latest version ) stand alone installer (all of
the download needed is in this package)

Error 0x8007054F means that "An Internal error occurred." To get more
meaning (not much though) you should google for
98CB24AD-52FB-DB5F-A01F-C8B3B9A1E18E It is a GUID.

I would say there might be something wrong with the module that you
downloaded, perhaps the zip file was not unzipped I do not quite recall if
it comes with a zip or not. But mostly Adobe stuff works flawlessly.

Make sure you have UAC enabled prior to installing Adobe Acrobat or Reader
version 8. If you have UAC off, it will throw an error on the install.
