Error 39

On my widows XP I downloaded Logitech QuickCam, under Device Manager, Sound,
video and game controllers I got yellow tag driver Logitech Mic (Communicate
STX);Device Status "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware.
The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" and microphone which is
within QuickCam doesn't work.

I checked all possible with technician from Logitech and he advice me that I
have some problem with audio driver.
Could somebody help me?
