On the latest beta build, I cannot sign in. I keep getting error 8004800e.
Closing it, restarting, etc. does not work. HELP! I need my messenger!

Greetings,

I believe the problem is on their side, so there isn't really anything you can do to correct
it yourself.

You can always downgrade of course if you need access immediately to Messenger.

I might be wrong, but i turned off "remember me" and it let me log on.

I don't know, but you might as well try it.

That is exactly how to fix this issue. Error 800400e refers to the fact that windows live messenger cache has either become too large or corrupted, preventing successful login. By clicking "forget me", the cache is deleted and then rebuilt when you log on.
