How do you deal with this? I've tried all the possible solutions that
Microsoft suggests and nothing works... I can't install this update.
Microsoft, if your reading this, you've got one disgusted customer here. I
am a big XP fan and if it wasn't for the fact that I bought a new PC, I'd
never have updated to Vista. In 5+ years I never once had an XP equipped PC
crash... in less that 6 months I've had a Vista equipped PC freeeze a half
dozen times in addition to being a snail in comparison... get it together...
I'm seriously considering downgrading. Vista sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes that link also helped me. I could not download this update using the auto
windows update and it worked great doing it manually. I also went to auto
update after I did this update and got another update that was needed. Hope
this helps.

Exactly where is the download button you refer to and how can I tell if this
is the correct download? I don't think I saw what was trying to download
only that one was avail. The when I run it I get the error message. I have
tried the fixes to no avail. Linda
