Error 8007005 and Vista user accounts

I've spent days trying everything to get Live Messenger login to work
In the login screen the Remember me part is greyed out and I alway ge
an 8007005 error

If I set up a new Vista user account (admin or standard doesn't matter
and use it then login works fine. But I want to use Messenger on m
primary user account

Some posts say it's a password issue but I don't use any passwords o
my Vista accounts
