When I try and get new updates in Vista Ultimate, it can't get them and I get
this error: Code 8009200D. What's going on and how can I fix this?

I am also hitting this problem, and everything I download from the web is an
untrusted publisher. I did a clean install of RTM and SP1 both several times.
My other computers work fine.

Was SP1 obtained directly from MS ?
If yes, then contact PSS for support.
If not or it's still a beta release candidate, then you are on your own.

Yes, I work for Microsoft in the Windows Division. I am reporting the issue
internally right now.

That's where the query should go, Jerry. No one outside of MS except
perhaps OEMs have seen the official release of SP1 so far.

The Update MVPs have not even been notified as to it's pending release.
Nor provided any kind of documentation.

8009200D Crypt_E_Bad_Msg
ASN1 unexpected end of data

Well ... that's not much help.

Have you posted about it here?...

Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1)
Use this forum for all issues related to Windows Vista SP1

SP1 may have gone RTM yesterday but it's still RC status as far as we're
concerned.

A Windows BlueBadger having Updating issues in Vista SP1 does not bode well
IMHO.
