ERROR 80131700

I tried to install SP3 for XP and it fails repeatedly . All I get for a
reason is error 80131700 . Any idea what I have to do to complete the install

Do you mean Service Pack 2? Or do you mean .NET Framework 1.0 SP3? Without
taking a look at the log, it would be difficult to say. If Service Pack 2,
try installing directly from the download site. Here is the link:

(please disregard the IT Professionals and Developers portion of this, as it
will run on an individual computer as well: (266 MB))

Save this file, and THEN install it.

Pat you are correct as far as the .NET Framework 1.0 sp3. I had links sent
to me from Microsoft to download it but it ends up the same each time
Microsoft support is trying to come up with a reason but I haven`t seen
anything from them in a couple days , Gary
