Error 8024400D in Windows Update

Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition. When I try to open run Windows Update
- Custom Install I get an error number: 0x8024400D. Troubleshooter offers no
solution. Has anyone seen this before or know of a solution?

I just completed installing updates using Windows Update.. After installing
the last available update using Express, I ran Windows Update one more time
at which time I also got error code 0x8024400D.. I do not know of a
solution either. I'd also appreciate if anyone has any insight on this
matter.

After doing some searching I tried a solution posted by Maurice N ~ MVP. Here
it is:
After I visited the above link using MS IE, and said yes to my firewall and
spyware, Windows Update worked correctly.

After install the update from microsoft update site you must reopen the
microsoft update side and click on change settings. Then click on change
settins again. Toward the bottom of the screen you will see a box that says
disable microsoft update and use windows update check this box and then click
apply changes now. You then can run windows update again and everyting
should run ok

Also try switching back and forth between microsoft update and windows update
sites. See if either one of them work for you.
