Error: 80244016

After the install of Windows Server 2003 SP1, I am receiving the error code
80244016 when I click on ether "Express" or "Custom" at
http://ws03sp1.update.microsoft.com/....aspx?ln=en-us. I
have cleared any proxy configuration with proxycfg -d. The log file indicates
"PT: Cannot recover from fault, origin=GetConfig, hr=0x80244016". Anyone have
any ideas?
