error 8024401b in event log

Hi! I'm trying to do windows update on xp pro sp2 box. It downloads them
and then doesn't install. When I look into the Windows update log, it shows
an error of 8024401b. The log shows errors downloading, but the screen said
they downloaded successfully--but failed when installing. Below is a snip
from the log. Thanks.

What kind of proxy are you connecting through?

Thanks for the reply. I'll look at the Bits on the client end. I ended up
making a MSS call.

Turned out to be a GP setting on the server.
