I have tried installing SP 1 for Vista, but it always gives me this error
code. I typed in into Windows Help and Support, and followed the
instructions to correct the problem (made sure the BITS is set to
Automatic/Delayed start) and the settings were exactly the way they were
supposed to be. Is anyone else having this issue?

Is Vista SP1 being offered by Windows Update or are you attempting to

Set BITS to Automatic *not* Automatic/Delayed Start and see if that
resolves the installation issue.
If no joy, use the links that PABear posted to contact MS.
