I have been unable to sign in to my msn account for about 2 days..
I tried un-installing and then re-installing, removing MSN folder in the
registry and clearing the cache in IE but it doesn't work.. i keep getting
this error code 81000395. However, i was able to login using another account
on the same PC, just not my normal account..

Currently installed on my PC is Windows Live Messenger (Build 8.5.1302.1018)
and running on Windows XP Professional SP2.

Same problem too here.
All users on our LAN experiencing this since approx 7/23/08.
All stations are XP SP2 or SP3.
81000395 errors occur with WLM 8.1.0178.00 and 8.5
However, old Messenger 4.7.3001 works, as does Trillian 3.1 Basic.
Webmessenger also works (of course).

We do NOT use either AVG or Symantec IM Manager. (These are known to cause
this error code.)
