Hi

I am trying to install the three updates; KB973475, KB973443 and KB975958.
When I do I get a failure with error code 89B. Have been through the help
screens with no success. Anyone else out there have a solution to this
problem. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit), Microsoft Office 2003
on a dual core AMD 6000 system with 4Gb memory and about 150Gb spare on the
hard drive.

Regards

Martyn

89B NERR_BadPassword
The password parameter is invalid.

Well, that certainly does not help, do it ? Were the updates downloaded
automatically after the system was opted into Microsoft Update via the
Windows Update applet in Control Panel ? Or, did you manually download
them ?

Was the OS upgraded from Vista with Office 2003 SP3 installed or did you
purchase the system with Win 7 and then install Office 2003 SP3 ?

I know those are a raft of questions Martyn but, such is life in the
updating newsgroups these days.
