The issues are involved with your video card and/or a specific game. The
fm.exe file seems to belong to something called "Football Manager 2007".
Possibly that game isn't compatible with Vista or needs patches, or perhaps
your ATI video card doesn't support it, etc. For game-specific help, go to
the game mftr.'s website for tech support and/or user forums.

You say "all the games" you installed give you issues but you forgot to tell
us *which* games and what video hardware is in your computer. This is
important. For all we know you're trying to play Crysis on a Vista Basic
laptop (not possible, btw).

ATI drivers can often be problematic. A good place to explore problems with
ATI video cards especially in relation to gaming is on a gaming/hardware
forum. ATI is owned by AMD now and I would start with their forums.

You've still left out the most important information - what video card you
have and what kind of computer you have (desktop, laptop), and how much
memory is in your Vista machine.

Just because something worked on XP doesn't mean it will work on Vista,
which is a completely different operating system.

Again, for game-specific issues you should check on the game mftr.'s website
for system requirements and known issues.

You need to go to the game mftr.'s website and see if it your graphics card
is supported.

I don't know how many more times I can repeat this (actually I *do* know -
this is the last time). For game-specific help you need to go the the
various game mftrs.' websites and look for tech support and/or user forums.

Try updating your video drivers. Go to Asus's website and download the
drivers for your video card. Make sure you get them for your specific model
laptop.

If there is no help from the game mftrs. (for instance if they say there are
no issues running those games in Vista with no special patches,
workarounds, etc.) and updating the drivers doesn't help, you probably have
something else running in the background causing problems. Do clean-boot
troubleshooting to determine what that is.
