On my Win XP Pro AMD Athlon XP1400, (MSI 6330 K7 Turbo mobo with VIA
chipset). I was having many sudden shutdowns with BSOD and different
error messages AFTER SP2 was installed, so I disabled DEP.

I still have sudden shutdowns (not as frequent as before) with BSOD
but only one error message that reads: IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

Anybody has any ideas as to what does this mean and how to fix it?

Thanks

Matt

Do you have a Soundblaster audio card in your computer? I recently had the
same error message and after lenghty probing across the web, I finally
discovered that soundblaster cards and VIA chipsets quite often don't get
along with each other. I simply needed to reinstall the audio card into a
different bus slot.

I am running a Soundblaster Audigy 2, and now have no sound after installing
SP2. Can you tell me how to "reinstall the audio card into a different bus
slot"?

Thanks,
Jim
