I applied SP2 to my Win XP Pro SP1, installation proceeded without a
problem. However, now I get an error message, when the system is
booted/rebooted

"Gearsec.exe Application Error"
instruction in memory at 0x0012e86c referred to memory 0xffffffff
could not be read.

Click cancel to debug and OK to terminate the application

If I click Ok to terminate the application, system appears to work OK,
if I click Cancel to debug, the system hangs and I cannot even shut it
down.

I never had this error before.

What gives?

Thanks in advance.

Matt
WinXp Pro SP2

Gearsec is possibly related to ittunes, gear professional,
or some other program using the burning engine:
