Windows 2003 Server SP1.

When I try to run Windows Update - Custom buttion I get the following error
message...

[Error number: 0xC80003F3]
The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are
trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.

In the ReportingEvents.log, I see a series of the following messages...

{E1117786-C3A6-4540-B832-09C1CB814542} 2006-07-11
00:54:14-0400 1 149 102 {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000} 0 0 AutomaticUpdates Failure Software
Synchronization Unable to Connect: Windows is unable to connect to the
automatic updates service and therefore cannot download and install updates
according to the set schedule. Windows will continue to try to establish a
connection.

Tried stopping the AU service and deleting the SoftwareDistribution folder,
but no luck. Funny thing is, Windows Update has been working fine on this
machine up until this latest round of patches. No changes have been made to
this machine in the meantime.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Error code 0xC80003F3 = The computer is out of memory

I am getting the same error code and this did not resolve the issue. The
only thing I have not done is reboot the server, however I have done
everything listed in steps 1-5. I will reboot the server late tonight and
post my results.

I got as far as trying to rename c:\windows\SoftwareDistribution. I got an
error that said the folder was in use and I was unable to rename. Any
suggestions?
