Error in automatic updates of windows and office

Hi,
I reinstall my pc and when install office 2003 automatic updates cannot be

I have tryed both solutions here {http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943144}
This is the only thing I get.

I have tryed installing these before and after SP3 with the same result.
Win XP Pro Dell XPS M1710 Office 2003 Pro.

I got it to work. I ran (msconfig) set it to normal startup, reran the
updates and all worked fine then reset it to startup the way I want it to.
