Error Code: 0x36B1

I am having problem updated my Window Defender. I keep getting same error
message for the last 3 days. I was able to update everthing alse except
Defender defenition. I did run windows Genuine validation came out fine.
Please help.

I have the same problem. Any help appreciated.

I'm also having this problem, Microsoft instructs me to try the update again
but this resultes in having this error code again and again.
Someone with an idea?

And I SOLVED the problem in a couple of minutes:

Just reinstall the windows defender beta 2 version.

After this the defender starts a complete system check, after that I went to
the windows update site and checked for updates. What happend? Nothing!

When checking the update history i noticed that the last update that gave
the error message was installed o.k.!

The best thing for you to do is re-install the defender beta 2 program from
the microsoft download page. Once it's done run it this will then remove and
re-install.Make sure your on-line when running the program as when it's
finished it will look for updates.This will then install the update that is
causing you trouble automatically. To check goto your update reviews and it
should be there KB915597 with a little green tick. Hope this helps!!!

I tried this and when it connects to the web to get the updates I get error
0x80070663!

Any advice on where I go now?
