error code 0x3F5 on int. exp. 7.0

I keep getting message after it goes thru the whole process of trying to
install internet explorer 7.0 that it failed. The above error code is what I
get. What is wrong and how do I fix it. Please help. Thanks

I am also getting this error & cannot install IE 7.0 update.

I am experiencing the same issue - I can't find anything on MicroSoft
KB/Support except this thread ... If anyone can help - here is the entire
end of the string surround this error code:

I have been having the same problem and I did not have a problem with the
beta version ...I have reinstalled and disabled everything I can think of and
followed every work around and this is just not working and I have tried
installing it about 15 times

I use Windos XP and having same problem when i am tring to install Internet
Explorer 7 (Error Code: 0x3F5), Is there anyone, who has a sllution for this
particular problem?

I had this problem, but reinstalling Service Pack 3 solved it. Try it!
