When I try to setup outlook I get the error message "regsvr32.exe could not
run vbscript.dll re install regsvr32.exe or run regsvr32.exe vbscript.dll to
configure manually"
I have tryed both sugestions and still no joy, instead I get this error
"the module C:\windows\system32\vbscript.dll was loaded but the call to
dllregisterserver failed with error cod 0x0004005"

Whats going on? all I want to do is set up outlook so I can send an recieve
emails.
im am running outlook xp edition on Vista home edition

I am also getting the same error after upgrading from Office Pro 2003, just when I try to run Outlook 2007, th rest of the package runs fine.
I've try to run repair from the CD too.

"Failed to register a VB script DLL. Re-install or Run RegSvr32 exe Vbscript.dll to self register. An error occurred while creating a form.

Ran RegSvr32.exe Vbscript.dll from the run command.

"The module "vbscript.dll" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80004005"

write the command to register the specified dll into a batch file
Eg: regsvr32.exe XLSpeedGenASP.dll and save it as a batch file.
Right click on this batch file and say run as administrator. If it is
not able to load the dll, then copy the dll to the expected path and do
the same. It will solve the problem on windows vista.

I had the same problem, the above solution worked like a charm!
Thanks.
