Error code 0x80010105 Office sp2 installation fail.....

Had to completely restore computer recently due to file corruption - computer
is now 4 years old!! Anyway, everything re-installed ok, until I tried Office
SP2. It downloaded fine but when the install begins it fails with the error
code 0x80010105. Help.....its driving me mad!!!!

Do you install Office SP2 on an other PC?

Ok, I'm no techno-phobe, but this stuff just went right over my head.
As far as I'm aware the SP2 installation package should be fine cos it
downloaded from this website.
I've only got one pc and I've never loaded sp2 before.
The information on this error code doesn't mean anything to me . I use my pc
at home, connected to the internet by ntl:home broadband and I don't know
what a "server-side automation of office" is !!!

Any other suggestions??

Please, download the Office SP2 again. Might be the Office SP2 corrupt.
What version of Office do you use?
