Here we go:
- install and run Total Commander.
- change into the windows directory
- select "Search..." in the "Command"-menu.
- the field "Search in:" should read something like "C:\Windows" (your
windows directory)
- select the tab "Advanced"
- check "Attributes"
- check "Encrypted" (leave the other checkboxes grey)
- click on "Start search" (this will take a while)
- you should get a list of the encrypted files (if any)
- when the search finishes click on "Feed to Listbox"
Repeat this for every found file:
- right click on the file (you need to hold down the right button for a
little while)
- the standard explorer context menu should come up
- select "Properties"
- click "Advanced"
- uncheck "encrypt content" (i am not sure about the exact naming) it is the
bottom checkbox
- click "OK"
- click "OK" again
Best regards
