Hi Everyone,

I contacted MS and here are the suggestions/instructions to resolving it.
Their tech support asked me the following to provide further info to decipher
this issue, see below:
**************************START OF 1st MESSAGE *************************
After checking the Windows Update log you attached, I found that the error
code was 0x8007041d.

The error can be caused by one of the following factors:

1. The access permissions of Windows Update services have been restricted or
have not been configured correctly.
2. The domain policies or proxy server settings blocked the access to
Windows update service.

At this time, let us try the following approach to troubleshoot this issue.

Suggestion: Verify the relevant Windows Update services
===================================
1. Click Start, Run and type "services.msc" (without quotation marks) in the
open box and click OK.

2. Double click the service "Automatic Updates".

3. Click on the Log On tab, please ensure the option "Local System account"
is selected and the option "Allow service to interact with desktop" is
unchecked.

4. Check if this service has been enabled on the listed Hardware Profile. If
not, please click the Enable button to enable it.

5. Click on the tab "General "; make sure the "Startup Type" is "Automatic"
or "Manual". Then please click the button "Stop" under "Service Status" to
stop the service.

6. Then please click the button "Start" under "Service Status" to start the
service.

7. Please repeat the above steps with two other services:
Background Intelligent Transfer Service
Remote Procedure Call (RPC)

If any of the above services is unable to be stopped and restated, please
capture a screenshot when you encounter an error message for my further
research.
================
1) Press the Print Screen key (PrtScn) on your keyboard.
2) Click Start, click Run, type MSPAINT, and click OK.
3) In Paint, click Paste under the Edit menu, click Save under the File
menu, type a file name for the snap shot, choose JPEG as "Save as type", and
click Save.

For detailed information, please refer to the following Microsoft Knowledge
Base article:
You receive a "0x8007041D" error when you visit the Windows Update Web site
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;902322

If the services can be stopped and restated, please try to visit the Windows
Update site to test the issue again.

However, if the behavior persists, please let me know if this is a home
computer or a work computer. If it is a home computer, please also let me
know if it connects to the Internet directly or through a network device. If
it is a work computer, please let me know if the computer is in a domain.

In addition, in order to perform further research, please gather the
following information for me.

System Information
============
a. Press Start, Run and type in msinfo32. Press OK.
b. Choose Save from the Action menu and save it as System Information file.

The latest Windows Update Log
====================
a. Click Start->Run, type: %windir% and press Enter.
b. Locate a file named "WindowsUpdate.log". Please also collect the file
named "Windows Update.log" (if present).
