When I go to the web "Window Update" and choose " Custom" for the choice. The
web page write this web have problem and the error code is 0x80070424.

Moreover, the service list in the control panel does not contain the
"automatic update"

I have tried the following method but the result is not good.

Method 1 – Re-register the Windows Update client

=======================================

1. Quit all programs that are running.

2. Click Start, and then click Run.

3. Type “regsvr32 wuapi.dll” (without the quotation marks), and then click
OK.

4. When you receive the “DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded” message,
click OK.

REGSVR32 WUAUENG.DLL
REGSVR32 WUAUENG1.DLL
REGSVR32 ATL.DLL
REGSVR32 WUCLTUI.DLL
REGSVR32 WUPS.DLL
REGSVR32 WUWEB.DLL

5. Restart the computer and try to update again.

Method 2 - Run the attached fix.bat

=======================

Please rename the file fix.ba_ to fix.bat, and then double click on it.
After finished, please restart the computer and try to perform Windows update
again.

See if this helps::
1. Click Start.
2. Choose Run.
3. In the Run box, type (or copy/paste from this post)
regsvr32.exe wuaueng.dll (note the space there in the middle)
4. Click OK.

After the regsvr32 command, start regedit.exe
and locate the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\wuauserv

If you find a DeleteFlag value there, delete the DeleteFlag value.

As for your OS not being valid you may still have problems with Windows Update

Visit the Microsoft "how to tell" website: - www.microsoft.com/howtotell

No guarantees. It may work for you, or it may not work.

Back up the registry key if you decide to edit it or create a system restore
point.
