Error Code: 0x80070426

I already attempted to download and install Windows XP Service Pack 2, and I
am getting the same error code. Do I need to install Service Pack 1 first?
If so, installing Service Pack 1 will prevent me from using my wireless
internet unless I am logged in as ADMIN.

No, you do not need to install SP1 first. Check out this page for some
