Error Code: 0x8007F0DA SBS 2003

I have been trying to update SBS 2003 to SP2 for some time now. I keep
getting Error Code: 0x8007F0DA. I have tried installing from disk as well as
the update site.

Perhaps some HD maintenance, try running the "chkdsk /r" command at the
command prompt

You cannot install some updates or programs

When you examine the %systemroot%\Windowsupdate.log file, you may see an
entry for one of the following errors:. 0x80096001 . 0x80096005 . 0x80096010
.. 0x800B0001 . 0x800B0003 . 0x800B0004 . 800B0109 . 0x8007f0da

We had similar errors on a SBS 2003 server. I tried almost everything at this
page: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822798, with no success. Tried
installing from Express update, Custom update and by running the 320M
download locally on the server. Always the same errors.

What we ended up doing was to re-install SP1. I didn't do the actual fix and
will verify with the tech that did. I do know that with SP1 re-installed, we
were able to run the SP2 update successfully.
