Please always include all the details in your Subject in the body of your
post too. Some users have search tools which can only search each
area separately.

Try a search with your code?

E.g. using the web interface to newsgroups that you are using
press Alt-7, type 0x8007F0F1 (or paste it in) and press Enter...
Apparently you could even use the Answered Questions filter
(e.g. press Alt-i,Enter) in that case too...

Please state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3).

There is a very good chance are that you are seeing the affects of a
hijackware infection.

1. See if you can download/run the MSRT manually:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/ma...e/default.mspx

NB: Rename MRT.EXE to, e.g., SCANNER.EXE before running the tool!

2. Run the Windows Live Safety Center's 'Protection' scan (only!) in Safe
Mode with Networking, if need be:
http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/howsafe.htm

3. Run a /thorough/ check for hijackware, including posting the requested
logs in an appropriate forum, not here.

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.
