Error code 0x8024002d for 2002 XP Update SP3

I've "MS Office 2002 XP Home edition" with SP2 on my notebook. When the
auto-update tries to update via internet it always detects as "MS Small
Office" and asks for "MS Small Office" CD searching for installation patch
SBERET.MSI where as I've "MS Office Home Edition" with no such patch

I do use MS Office CD in CD-ROM while updating.....FYI

I've not been able to find a solution since Jul'05.

Doubt your still checking this, I'm not about to be helpful anyhow, except to
say I feel ya... I'm having that exact same problem. I bought Office Home, I
have Office Home, yet it wants to update office sbe...? Alas, I too do not
have the elusive sberet.msi file... how irritating is that? Oh well, think
when this system hits it's third birthday, Im gonna look at the new macs...
It's amazing that a man worth billions who gives so much to charity, doesn't
put the same consideration into supporting those who contribute to his
billions... I've got an idea Bill, help the poor in underdeveloped nations by
building some information centers over there, training the population, and
have them provide chat support 24/7 for the world who has to rely on this
'needs updates daily' crap.
