Error Code: 0x80242006 with recent WGA tool

I can't update this new WGA tool and, yes, this is a legit copy. I tried to
install this from Microsoft Update unsuccessfuly 3 times this evening. Any
way to delete the install (somewhere?) and start over?

If you are referring to update 905474, then download and install:

http://www.download.windowsupdate.co...d496154544.exe

Then re-boot Windows. Does this solve your problem?

If not 905474 and it's the actual tool itself, run the diagnostic tool and then
retry the download.

You my friend are a genius. Like the requester I had the same problem and
have been unable to resolve it my self after numerous attempts and system
changes.

I tried this--(I am in a limited access screen since Microsoft says that my
Vista is not genuine)--and it says that I don't have enough space.
Microsoft--I find this highly frustrating.
