Error Code 0x8026D007

Whenther I start the update website it asks me to install becuase the website
has been updated. It installs the after it has registered it will say "

[Error number: 0x8024D007]
The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are
trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.

I have searched the microsoft website and couldn't find anything.

Also I am running Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2.

Go back to Windows Update, but then select View update history. If this is on V6 of Windows Update, you should be able to click on that error note, and see some info.

Look at your log file for Windows Update. There may be another exception noted that preceded this one.

If you cannot find it, post an *extract* from the log, but only for the very last date.
Use Notepad or Wordpad and open & look at the Windows Update log file
C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log or C:\WINNT\WindowsUpdate.log

Scroll down all the way. Get / copy / paste (ideally, put into a file & attach in repy ) back here the set of lines for (today's ) the last session.
