Error Code 0x8DDD0018

I had problems with installing SP2 for XP. Aftrer finding some scripts posted
by Torgeir, i finlayy was able to install this update. When i try to check
the update site now, i get this error. The solution is to restart the BITS
service, but, after the installation of SP2, this service is gone for me. Any
solutions?

Hi,

You would get error 0x8DDD0018 if Background Intelligent Transfer Service
(BITS) is disabled.
