i have down loaded some software for my musical keyboard however when i try
to install it i receive the following message. error 1303 the installer has
insufficient privileges to access this directory c:\documents
settings\allusers\documents\ides4

Pls supply the EXACT error message.

There is no 'allusers' folder nor is there a 'documents' sub-folder.
How old is this software?

That's the problem. There is no pathname under windows as such. You could
try creating it and giving Permission for Everyone, and see if it helps.

Just create each folder as it expects it.

However, the exact pathname SHOULD be:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\My Documents\ides4.

Have you tried checking the Casio web-site for patches?
