Error code 1603

I've been trying to download WLM. I've been using Windows Messenger 4.7 up
until now when I can't log in. So I figure I might as well upgrade, so I
download the software only to find that it copies most of the files, thne it
rolls back the installation with the error code. Is there anything that I
can do to fix that? I'd appreciate any help that you can give me.

Greetings Cris,

1603 is Windows Installer's default error for anything that goes wrong. Usually, there is an
error message prior to seeing the 1603 one which explains what its having difficulty with.
Could you copy/paste that here?

There is no other prior message to the 1603.
