Error Code 80048820; extended error code 80048439

Hi

i've recently installed Live Messenger and when i try to sign in i get the
above error code; the troubleshooter confirms i have internet connection but
there is some sort of issue with my proxy server or firewalls?

How can i fix this?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Have you reset your modem/router by unplugging the power and plugging it
back in to allow them to reboot? Internet and everything else requiring
connectivity works fine?

Hi

It was saying there was a problem with the keyports and DNS. I've tried
uninstallling but now cannot re-install :-( The clock is correck but if i try
to update synchronize it manually i get told there it can't due to an error.

I just tried the secure link you suggested and couldn't connect; it said i
had a certificate error ( I use OneCare)


Does that info help at all?
