Error code: 80070002

I cannot sign into Windows Live Messenger. I'm getting the following message:

Signing in to Windows Live Messenger failed because the service is
temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.
Error code: 80070002

Please help!

In a lot of cases, this error messages mean exactly what it says -- just try again later.

Hi, thank you for your suggestion but it didn't work unfortunately. I've even
tried uninstalling/reinstalling.
Any other suggestions?

Hi again, i noticed in my "programs" file i have MSN Messenger 6.2, Windows
Messenger and also Windows Live Messenger but when i got to "Add/Remove
Programs" only Windows Live Messenger is there. Could this be the problem?
