error code 80070002 when installing 2 updates

hi, ive just installed some updates on my computer, but 2 of them didnt
install for some reason and it given me the error code 80070002. i did what
it said on help and support and delete all of the temporary update history
but it still hasnt solved the problem.
please help!

You will need to reload your Vista OS to clear that error. If any change is
made to the OS be it driver or hardware you may get this error. When this
error comes up you can try the 2 things Microsoft suggest but they rarely
work. You can as well try and download the actual update to your desktop but
again this did not work for me. After 4 hours over 2 days on the phone with
India support they reloaded my OS and it worked after that.

OK -- So how do I reload the OS (Vista Ultimate) without spending 4 hours on
the phone?
