Here is what worked for me: I went to C:\Windows\Setupapi.log (or whereever
your Windows folder is) and went to the end of the file and it listed the
error much more specifically. In my case, it said -

#-007 Deleting registry key HKCR\vnd.ms.radio
#E033 Error 5: Access is denied.

So I went to my registry keys by clicking the Start button and clicking on
run, entering "REGEDIT". When the Registry Editor comes up, I clicked on Edit
and then Find, and entered the registry key that caused the error - in my
case "vnd.ms.radio". I didn't include the "HKCR" part in my search and it
worked best. Once you have found the key, click on edit and then permissions.
THE PERMISSIONS SHOULD BE "ALLOWED" FOR THE SYSTEM AND THE ADMINISTRATOR.
ALSO MAKE SURE THAT YOU CLICK ON EDIT AND THEN "FIND NEXT", SO THAT YOU FIND
ALL THE POSSIBLE KEYS THAT MAY BE CAUSING THE PROBLEM. Then click on OK and
close the Editor.

I was then able to install the Service Pack 2 without a problem!
