error code 80072745 - (MSN 8.1 (Build 8.1.0178.00)

I was chatting with my boss last night on MSN fine, Left the computer on
and went to bed, This morning i get up, and MSN is not logged in. Error
80072745 sitting there... I look to my VPN padlock and its still closed
which mean that i didnt loose internet all night.

So given that there was no chance with anything myside i have to assume
that it was something on microsfts side last night that is now not letting
me log in to my MSN account ? and ideas ?

Have you tried a simple fix, yet? Reboot and try again to reconnect?

This is the "We were unable to sign you in to the MSN Messenger, possibly
because of a problem with your Internet connection. Please try again later.
80072745" error message.

If you're running a firewall, you can check the logs from that to see if
anythings blocking msnmsgr.exe.

Try loggin in via programs like Trillian to see if that works or use
webmessenger http://webmessenger.com - this will rule out a connection problem
if successful

Lastly try uninstalling and reinstalling WLM. Also run a virus scan to ensure
that there are no virus in your system.
