I'm tired to search files everywhere in my PC,
finally i got result.

In Local Disk C:\Documents and Settings\USER-ACCOUNT\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft

USER-ACCOUNT --> is your user account that you logged in Microsoft Windows.
I used it just to show that example.

SO:

1. - Find folder with name Messenger, and delete all files and folders in it,
2. - Also find folder with name Windows Live Contacts, delete all files and
folders in it, and it's done.

I think it will be helpful,

Sincerely Binary World

if i delete contactslog, msnmsgr and activesharing folder.....
will it harm my sister's account?? (eg: her contacts are lost....)
coz i don't want to take the risk...

And, for the windows live contacts.
there's my sister's folder too...

then i tried to sign in...
it seems to work.
but then. the error message was shown up again...
then i opened the windows live contacts folder.

Hello,

Look, I had other problems with my messenger,
that is why I delete Messenger and Windows Live Contacts folder.

But if you delete these files it wan't harm your sister neither you too,
because everyone's contacts list are stored to Microsoft Servers...

But why these folders are created to us is that for next time when we try to
Log In
is not going to check again for whole contacts list to Microsoft but only
for any changing,
so it takes less time to Log In,

The problem is into Windows Live Messenger Beta, when we Leave Group,
or do something that it wan't be able to finish their action it store
unfinished action,
and when we try to Log In again it checks latest configuration and makes
problems that is
error code 81000451.

After you Logged In do not try to Leave/Delete Groups, it cause that problem.

You can delete these folders with no doubt...

Sincerely Binary World

I have followed the knowledgebase articles, read on forums tried lots of
diffent things to fix my Sign in error (81000451) and this is NOT a local
problem, it exists on every machine I try to sign in on with the 2009
Messenger. I tried it on multiple computers (even formatted one) to see if it
would make a difference. The error shows up on all machines. It also prevents
Windows Live Messenger Mobile from syncing e-mail.

Is there anyone on the support team that can give an estimate on when this
will be fixed?
