Error Code: FFFFFC05 while attemping to install sp2

I'm getting the samee error code.

Why isn't anyone helping us with this error code? I can't find anything
about it.

The few references I can find to this error code would seem to indicate that
it may be a hardware problem
Did you check your hardware for compatibility with SP2 before attempting the
upgrade?
