Update fails with error : ox8oo7o643 .

You could search for the error via Google. But first, replace all of the
lowercase 'o' characters with '0'.

Windows Update or Microsoft Update Web sites to install updates

After 12 April 2010, XP SP3 your computer will NOT be offered ANY critical
security updates nor will Windows Update website be available until & unless
you get XP SP3 installed.

When you try to install an update for the .NET Framework 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0,
or 3.5, you may receive Windows Update error code "0x643" or Windows
Installer error code "1603"
