Error codes 800736B2 and 800F0900

I'm running Vista Premium Home. I have been unable to Install updates since
3/10/2009. KB958690, KB960225 & KB905866 keep getting same error codes
800736B2 &800F0900. I am also unable to install updates (KB952004,KB956572,
KB963027, KB959426 &KB960803). I tried to install the last 5 from Microsoft
support website. The message was that the updates compatable with my system.
These were automatic updates. can anyone help. Or am I going to have to
reinstall vista. Any help would be apprciated.thanks

Vista or Vista SP1 (or, God forbid, Vista SP2 beta)?

Is this a sudden, new problem or an ongoing one?

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)?
What third-party firewall (if any)?

Has a Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on this machine
(e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought it)?
