I uninstalled the two programs Vista told me to (Norton and Nero),
rebooted, and ran the installer. Everything worked fine until it got
to about 45% and it gave me an error saying Vista cannot copy the
files needed, with an error code of 0x80070017. This is trying to do
an upgrade to overwrite an XP installation.
Anybody have ideas?
Edit: Forgot to mention, my PC is:
AMD Athlon Dual-Core 3800+ (2.0GHz)
ATI Radeon X700
1GB RAM
228GB harddrive with about 90GB free
Windows XP Media Center Edition
