Error creating process in Windows Genuine Advantage Tool

Being as its that time of the computing month again, I went to 'Windows
Update' to check for the patches.
"To use this version........"

Started downloading etc this "Advantage Validation Tool" and...

"Error creating process <C:\DOCUME~1\.........\Local Settings\Temp
\IXP000.TMP\setup.exe>. Reason: C:\WINDOWS|system32\advpack.dll"
