An error was detected on device \Device\CdRom1 during a paging operation

Does anybody know what or how to clean this error up. Out of the blue I
started getting this error. Everything was working fine and then poof. I
seem to be able to burn but it is now inconstisten. I even replaced the DVD
burner with a new one just in case. reinstalled burning software and rolled
back vista.

Vista SP2 with all updates.
