I installed vs 2005 and sql server 2005 std. Ever since then windows update
no longer works. I tried to find the v6 cab file to reinstall the update
software but have had no luck. windows update is stuck in an endless loop and
keeps coming up with this error message. I tried clicking on "Let me read"
button but that just takes you to search. I am running on win xp pro
corporate license, but I think windows update believes it is a pirate copy.

I would appreciate any help you might give.
