Error installing updates Exit code=0x80240FFF;Call error code=0x80

Hi
I have been getting the above error in the windowsupdate.log file whilst
trying to install updates this morning on 2 of my windows 2003 servers. Other
machines running on the same domain and same OS have updated fine.

Below is the log which may help but I have done a lot of searching this
morning and not managed to find anything which relates to Windows 2003. I did
find an article about re-registering DLL's but this applied to Windows XP. If
anyone has any ideas as to why this may be happening or a solution I would be
really grateful!

I've seen the same problem of 2 of our Windows 2003 servers. The udpates will
not install from WSUS or from update.microsoft.com. I was forced to download
each update individually and install them manually.

I actually found the solution to this last night. The problem was with the
update KB917537 which was failing to install and causing the rest of the
updates to fail.
Apparently there is a known issue with this update and it requires you to
stop IIS - stop all your websites and FTP sites on the server and then run
the updates. I did this and all the updates installed correctly. Hope this
