I original has SP3 and all updates loaded. Had disk issues (which turned
out to be memory issues) and during troubleshooting process
reloaded XP, SP1 and SP2. Loaded fine.

PROBLEM

I'm trying to reload XP SP3 and getting the error:

"can't copy file to destination directory"

The file is beethov9.wm_ and beethov9.wma.

The file exists, but when I point to it OR move it to another directory and
then reference that directory, the installer input box keeps returning the
same message.

1) What program do I reference for these extentions?
2) Is there a way to set up a File Extention of [NONE] with open similiar to
what is done with Folder[NONE]
3) A better solution?

Thanks PA Bear -- BIGTIME

Executed and Installed with no problem.
Now I just need to go back and get rid of the sharing.

If you got any input with MS -- they need a fix for this
or at least let you skip this file (who needs Beethov9.wma anyway)

YW & thanks for your feedback. MS ain't gonna do nothin' about this as only
a very small minority of users have run in to this problem.
